Have I shown you the April layout yet? Almost halfway into April and only now do I show you the scattered doodles from the monthly spread. Lily washi is by endy, space washi is from Daiso, & the marbled washi is from Michaels. :)

That being said, I am super behind on my Top 10 for this month! Won't stop me from persevering, although I am a little less harsh on myself because I know that Camp NaNoWriMo is this month and I've been swamped by surprisingly large amounts of reading I have difficulty concentrating on.

Still, I can't help but try.

Today I finished my friend's novel (SD) and I am absolutely wrecked. Loved it to pieces, went through the last fourth of the novel this evening. Now I'm at a loss, having to wait for the next book in the series, but I'll have to live with it. Luckily I have plenty of distractions and other things to attend to, like my class's movie project and my own personal works-in-progress.

This is the weekly spread for this week, inspired by the bursts of color and brightness I felt on Tuesday--for some reason I was abnormally happy that day, all too excited to wander through the day. That day was an adventure in itself (here's the post from that day), and you know what? I'm absolutely excited for future emotions like those.

I've always had a difficulty choosing washi + complementing colors, so it was really nice that my pens managed to match.

And not to mention my writing feels that much more cheerier with different colors! It's great to invest in pens that help facilitate that passion, and in this case my Staedtler pens are always useful, always handy, and much appreciated.

Keep planning!

Yours Sincerely,

Dianne

P.S.: by the way, happy 4/13 to all the other Homestucks! It was a good part of my past, and it's been quite nostalgic today. :)
