Another week, another few moments spent making memories! Last week included a breakfast visit elsewhere, meeting friends in classes, and marveling at a cloud shaped like a fish.

On Monday the 28th, I tried making instant mashed potatoes--I didn't have the original box with me (a tragedy), so I tossed in milk & butter in the hopes that I could make a feasible entree of mashed potatoes. I made more than I thought I would, so I put it in three of my muffin spots.

Pictured above:
  • cheap cookies bought at an overpriced campus market
  • three servings of mashed potatoes w/ green onion
  • Snapea crisps {oh my goodness, I ate sooo much of these. It's just so easy to pop into your mouth. That's the most dangerous sort of snack.}
    • if you end up eating a million of something at a time, it's probably a good idea to never buy them again. Trust me, addictive snacks are usually not good for you, no matter what the label says. Even if it's healthy, does that really matter if you end up snacking on half the bag in one sitting?
  • A can of Cream of Chicken soup
  • a serving of lactose free milk to help my pour soul eat cookies

If I were thinking rationally last week,  would have stuffed some mashed potatoes into tupperware and dealt with only one serving. My past self was lazy, as they usually are, and as such I had to deal with three servings, which I grew tired of so quickly. I would recommend carrots and/or broccoli with ranch (but I can't eat ranch so that's a no-go for me). Sliced PB&J sandwiches would also work well instead of three servings of mashed potatoes.

I preferred to dip my mashed potatoes into the cream of chicken soup, but I had to wait for it to cool down first. This meal reminded me how much I hate soup that isn't the chicken & gnocchi one from Olive Garden. Maybe I should make it on my own? Probably.

Every once in a while my family used to buy these sorts of cookies. They only went so far--they're cheap, they're slightly bland, but they do great soaked in milk. I ran out of the lovely Coconut Dreams, and one day I'll find the time to go buy more.

If only everyday it could be Coconut Dreams day...

Ha! These baked things! I bought another pack a few days after I finished the pack from this photo. You can eat this mindlessly, and I'd prefer this over popcorn any day. One major peeve I had eating these things was that they were just stuck in my molars. It took forever to get them out with my toothbrush, so a warning: be careful of how many you scarf down.

Love,

Dianne
